The story of the often contentious relationship between Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri. Mozart's brilliance as a composer constantly over shadows that of Salieri, to the point of Salieri taking every opportunity to thwart the reputation and accomplishments of the renowned composer.

We forego our normal Edgar Allan Poe show this year to present a World Premier production of this new play. Based on "The Promise" by Eva Schloss (Anne Frank's step-sister) and Barbara Powers, "A Light in the Darkness" tells the heart-rending and harrowing tale of a family caught up in the horrors of the Holocaust. But this is a story of hope as Eva's family goes into hiding, is captured, and is sent to a concentration camp. Their fight for survival never ceases as they struggle through each day leading to the hope of their eventual return home. Eva Schloss will be present for this World Premier.

A backstage murder mystery set in 1959 Boston. The cast and crew of a Broadway-bound musical all become suspects after the show's leading lady mysteriously drops dead onstage after taking her final bow. Life in the theatre can be murder! Music and lyrics by the famed team of Kander and Ebb. Another area premiere!
